Masyarakat masih dihadapi dengan kondisi pandemi Covid-19. Dampak dari pandemi telah menghambat gerak bebas masyarakat untuk melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari, tak terkecuali mahasiswa. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari dikeluarkannya surat edaran Mendikbud Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 tentang pencegahan Covid-19 pada satuan pendidikan dan Nomor 36962/MPK.A/HK/2020 yang mengharuskan mahasiswa melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran daring. Namun, apakah dengan kuliah dari rumah mahasiswa tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa?
Apakah mahasiswa hanya berkutat dengan kesibukan menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan dosen? Apakah mahasiswa menghabiskan waktu berbulan-bulan hanya untuk menatap monitor sambil berbaring di atas kasur?
Menjadi seorang mahasiswa tidak lah mudah. Selain dituntut harus menjaga nilai akademik tetap stabil, mereka juga diharapkan mampu menjadi mahasiwa yang aktif dan produktif. Tetapi kenyataannya dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran daring saja sudah terasa lelah dan membosankan. Keluhan-keluhan jenuh mencuat seiring pandemi Covid-19 yang tak kunjung berakhir. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat ditempuh untuk menghalau kejenuhan selama kuliah daring ialah dengan melakukan aktivitas-aktivitas baru yang produktif. Terlebih, sistem pendidikan daring dan segala aktivitas yang berpusat di rumah, mahasiswa mempunyai fleksibilitas dalam waktu, sehingga aktivitas baru dapat efektif memberi ruang mengekspresikan diri di rumah. Oleh karenanya, ada beberapa cara yang bisa dilakukan mahasiswa selama di rumah agar menghalau kejenuhan di tengah pandemi, diantaranya sebagai berikut.
Cara pertama yang dapat dilakukan oleh mahasiswa agar tetap produktif yaitu dengan mengikuti webinar. Jika kamu tidak punya kegiatan lain saat di rumah, maka bisa mengisi waktu luang dengan mengikuti webinar-webinar yang disediakan baik dari pihak kampus maupun luar kampus, mengikuti webinar juga bisa menambah pengetahuan atau mendapatkan pengalaman sesuai dengan materi apa yang dibahas. Selain itu, kita juga akan mendapat sertifikat seusai mengikut webinar yang mana bisa dikumpulkan oleh mahasiswa sebagai bukti telah aktif berpartisipasi. Dengan mengikuti webinar tidak akan membuat mahasiswa menjadi rugi, melainkan akan mendapatkan relasi dan pengetahuan baru!
Cara kedua yaitu melatih skill baru, mahasiswa dapat melatih skill dengan mencoba melakukan hal-hal di luar kebiasaannya yang bisa dilakukan pada waktu senggang. Contohnya membaca buku, memasak, membuat desain grafis, belajar bahasa asing, belajar musik, dan kegiatan positif lainnya yang dapat mengasah soft skill dan hard skill dari mahasiswa tersebut. Cara terakhir yang bisa dilakukan, yakni melalui media sosial mahasiswa dapat menciptakan peluang bisnis dengan mengasah kreativitas. Kini, segala hal telah berbasis teknologi, tidak ada salahnya mahasiswa mencoba buka kesempatan bisnis secara online. Peluang bisnis online untuk berkembang cukup besar sebab sarana komunikasi masyarakat yang telah menghandalkan sosial media. Hal itu memberi dampak terhadap promosi suatu produk yang akan dijual.
Beberapa cara tersebut menjadi solusi menarik yang dapat dilakukan mahasiswa untuk tetap produktif di tengah pandemi Covid-19 yang masih menyerang sampai saat ini. Dalam menghadapi situasi tidak menentu seperti saat ini, diperlukan motivasi untuk bertahan hidup dengan menjadi produktif dan kreatif. Hal ini dapat menumbuhkan energi yang lebih kuat dalam menghadapi tantangan kehidupan yang baru sehingga mahasiswa setidaknya mampu menciptakan inovasi-inovasi agar tidak termakan rasa jenuh dan bosan di tengah usaha memutus rantai penyebaran virus Covid-19.
